The Detection Layer which enables Response

Coordinated Delivery

Security infrastructure meticulously aligned with communications, controls, & operational requirements from project inception.

Systems Alignment

Detection, monitoring, & response systems integrated to provide visibility & coordinated decision-making.

Operational Continuity

Continuous awareness & rapid response capabilities supporting secure & reliable operations.

Integrated Convergence

Security, communications, controls, & operational technology connected across the ecosystem.

Context

Security infrastructure establishes how facilities detect, assess, and respond to real-world conditions. The project required alignment between access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, communications systems, controls infrastructure, and operational technology to provide continuous awareness across critical environments. Success depended on integrating security systems into the broader infrastructure strategy from the beginning rather than deploying detection and response capabilities as standalone solutions.

.

Execution

SMCiS coordinated access control, intrusion detection, video surveillance, monitoring pathways, and supporting infrastructure as part of the overall infrastructure program. Security systems were aligned with communications, controls, and operational technology to create a connected environment capable of delivering real-time awareness and coordinated response. Each component was delivered as part of an integrated solution designed to improve visibility, accountability, and operational control.

Outcome

The completed environment delivered enhanced situational awareness, improved response capabilities, and greater operational control across interconnected systems. By aligning security infrastructure with the systems it protects, the facility achieved stronger visibility, faster decision-making, and more coordinated operations across critical environments.
